Dr. Kourosh Nazari

Dr. Kourosh Nazari is a board-certified cataract surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He specializes in cataract surgery, LASIK, and eyelid procedures at Capital Eye Consultants in Fairfax, Virginia. With over 20 years in practice, Dr. Nazari has performed more than 30,000 successful cataract surgeries. He has extensive experience treating complex cases, including patients with rare conditions. Dr. Nazari has also traveled abroad to train surgeons in performing cataract, LASIK, and eyelid surgeries, and has lectured at national meetings. He served as medical director at multiple surgery centers for over a decade.

Dr. Nazari earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1998 and completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is dedicated to providing excellent surgical care and achieving optimal outcomes for his patients.
