About Me
Dr. John C. Baldinger is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. With over 30 years of experience, he has performed more than 50,000 cataract surgeries. He offers advanced procedures including femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, multifocal and toric lens implants, and glaucoma MIGS procedures. His training in vitreoretinal disease gives him expertise in treating conditions affecting both the front and back of the eye.
Dr. Baldinger completed his medical degree at Vanderbilt University and ophthalmology residency at The Eye and Ear Hospital of Pittsburgh, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He has been board certified since 1986 and has served as medical director at his clinic.
In addition to his clinical practice, he has volunteered his surgical skills performing pterygium surgery in Central America.
