Dr. Sean Hansen

Dr. Sean Hansen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care, including medical and surgical treatment for common eye diseases. He performs cataract surgery and offers advanced lens options, including premium intraocular lens implants and laser-assisted cataract surgery, to help patients meet their vision goals.

After earning his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Hansen completed internship training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor and ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center. He cares for patients with cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease, and he performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery with the iStent when appropriate. Dr. Hansen focuses on listening closely, explaining choices clearly, and helping patients feel confident about their care.
