Dr. Modjtaba Amirahmadi

Dr. Modjtaba Amirahmadi is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in retina and vitreous surgery. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care, with a focus on conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. Dr. Amirahmadi is committed to utilizing advanced surgical techniques and technology to help preserve and restore vision for his patients.

Dr. Amirahmadi completed his residency in ophthalmology at Yale University School of Medicine and further advanced his training with a fellowship in retinal surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He is a member of the Southern California Permanente Medical Group and has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2010. Dr. Amirahmadi offers telehealth appointments for convenient access to care.
