Meet Dr. Matthew Thompson
About Me
Dr. Matthew J. Thompson specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye, offering a range of advanced treatments including laser vision correction, LASIK, laser cataract surgery, premium lens implantation, corneal transplantation, and laser surgery for glaucoma. He has a special interest in diseases of the cornea and is fellowship trained in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. Conditions he commonly treats include dry eye, blepharitis, ocular allergies, corneal dystrophies, and infectious and autoimmune diseases of the eye.
Dr. Thompson completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin and a fellowship at the Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan. He is also involved with Focus, a humanitarian organization that provides eye care services and training in Haiti.
