Dr. Dianne Schlachter

Dr. Dianne Schlachter is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in oculoplastic surgery, focusing on both functional and cosmetic procedures of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit. She completed her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and trained in ophthalmology at Kresge Eye Institute, where she served as co-chief resident. She further honed her skills through fellowships in ocular trauma and reconstructive surgery and a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the same institute.

Dr. Schlachter offers a comprehensive range of treatments for conditions such as droopy eyelids, eyelid malpositions, tear duct obstructions, and eyelid lesions or skin cancer. She is also experienced in cosmetic procedures including Botox, facial fillers, laser surgery, and endoscopic forehead lifts, utilizing the latest technology and advanced techniques to provide personalized care for each patient.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Schlachter is actively involved in medical education and leadership. She serves as an Associate Professor and Director of Oculoplastic Surgery at Beaumont Eye Institute and is the current president of the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Her dedication to patient care and teaching has been recognized with the Beaumont Eye Institute Teacher Award, and she was voted Best Doctors in America in 2017-2018.
