Dr. David Boyer

Dr. David Boyer is a clinician, surgeon, and educator specializing in retinal diseases. He is a leading investigator for national clinical trials on retinal diseases and serves as an advisor for multiple research, educational, and charitable institutions.

Dr. Boyer earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign and a medical degree from the Chicago Medical School. He completed his residency at the Los Angeles County-USC County Medical Center in 1976 and a retinal surgery fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He currently practices with Retina Vitreous Associates Medical Group in Los Angeles, where he treats a variety of retinal conditions.
