Dr. David Ramsey

Dr. David J. Ramsey is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist who focuses on the medical and surgical treatment of vitreoretinal diseases. He holds the inaugural Harry N. Lee Family Chair in Innovation at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, where he serves as Director of Ophthalmic Research, conducting investigations into the prevention and detection of retinal diseases.

Dr. Ramsey is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine and a consultant physician at the Bermuda International Eye Institute. His extensive research contributions include authoring or co-authoring more than 120 peer-reviewed publications, meeting abstracts, and textbook chapters in the field of ophthalmology.
