Dr. Darrell Pickard

Dr. Darrell J. Pickard is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Midwest City, Oklahoma, specializing in advanced cataract surgery, laser cataract surgery, and advanced lens implant technology. He has served as a full-time eye surgeon for the Midwest City and Oklahoma City metro areas since 1993.

Dr. Pickard has been a pioneer in the region, being the first in Oklahoma City to offer laser cataract surgery and dropless cataract surgery, and the first in Oklahoma to use Light-Adjustable Lens technology. He completed his medical training at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences in San Antonio. He is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract Refractive Surgery.
