Meet Dr. Byron Ladd
About Me
Dr. Byron Ladd is an ophthalmologist at Virginia Eye Institute specializing in retinal disorders. He completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, followed by an ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr. Ladd is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
As a partner at Virginia Eye Institute, Dr. Ladd has held leadership roles including President and ASC Medical Director. He continues to serve as an investigator in Phase III clinical trials and lectures nationally on the management of retinal diseases. Dr. Ladd is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, and other professional organizations.
