About Me
Dr. Brandon Lee is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care in Honolulu. Born and raised in the community, he is committed to serving patients with a range of eye conditions, with particular expertise in cataract surgery and medical diseases of the retina.
Dr. Lee completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Doheny Eye Institute and then pursued advanced fellowship training in retinal diseases at the top-ranked Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. His specialized training includes the treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal conditions, and he trained under a pioneer in the use of Avastin for macular degeneration.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lee is dedicated to teaching and mentoring, having worked with various programs to support disadvantaged students. He now practices alongside his father at the Cataract & Vision Center of Hawaii, where he offers personalized care and stays active in research and professional education.
