Dr. Betty Situ

Dr. Betty Situ is a vitreoretinal surgeon in training who cares for patients with medical and surgical diseases of the retina and macula. She evaluates and treats diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal tears and detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and other complex conditions, offering modern therapies including intravitreal injections and retinal laser procedures. Her practice is patient-centered and education-forward so individuals and families understand the diagnosis, the treatment plan, and the follow-up schedule.

Dr. Situ earned her MD from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She completed ophthalmology residency at the USC Roski Eye Institute/LAC+USC Medical Center and is completing a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago. She welcomes referrals for urgent retinal issues as well as ongoing management of chronic retinal disease.
