Dr. Bahaeddin El Khatib

Baha El Khatib, MD, is a retina specialist and board-certified ophthalmologist at Vitreo-Retinal Consultants. He cares for patients with medical and surgical diseases of the vitreous and retina, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal detachment. Dr. El Khatib offers advanced diagnostics, in-office injection therapies, laser procedures, and vitreoretinal surgery, and works closely with referring doctors to provide timely, coordinated care.

Dr. El Khatib completed a Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University and an additional Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School (Brigham and Women’s/Boston Children’s Hospital). His practice combines state-of-the-art imaging with evidence-based treatments to preserve and restore vision.
