Dr. Alejandra Decanini Mancera

Dr. Alejandra Decanini is a dedicated pediatric ophthalmologist who joined Northwest Eye in August 2020. She provides comprehensive eye care for infants, children, and teens, with extensive sub-specialty training in diagnosing and treating strabismus (misaligned eyes) and double vision. Dr. Decanini works closely with families to find treatment solutions that maximize vision and quality of life for even the youngest patients.

Dr. Decanini is an award-winning physician, recognized with the Harry Plotke Award for clinical skills and compassion. She has earned a spot on Minnesota Monthly’s Top Doctors list for multiple consecutive years. She completed her residency in ophthalmology and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Decanini is bilingual, speaking Spanish, and is passionate about delivering patient-centric care.
